Unvaccinated persons will also have access to the Bucharest HALF MARATHON

Bucharest RUNNING CLUB will cover the costs for the rapid antigen tests

At OMV Petrom Bucharest HALF MARATHON (September 4th-5th), all runners will have access - both vaccinated and unvaccinated, who are either tested negative or present proof of recovery from COVID.

Bucharest RUNNING CLUB announces that after the announcement of the authorities and the analysis of the current situation, together with the partners and decision makers involved in the organization process, at the event will be allowed the access to all runners who will prove registration and can provide proof of immunity as follows:

- European COVID digital certificate - Vaccination Certificate for persons vaccinated against SARS-CoV-2 virus, for which 10 days have passed since the completion of the complete vaccination schedule;

- European COVID digital certificate -Recovery Certificate for the period between the 15th and 180th day following confirmation with SARS-COV-2.

For persons who do not hold any type of document specified above, the access will be made only based on presenting the rapid antigen test result, not older than 48 hours before the race in which they are registered. Bucharest RUNNING CLUB will support the costs necessary to perform rapid antigen tests for the participants, and the testing will be performed by a clinic accredited by the Ministry of Health.

We assure the runners that all the safety measures will be applied throughout the OMV Petrom Bucharest HALF MARATHON, both in the perimeter of Sport Expo in Izvor Park and on the race course ”says Valeria Răcilă van Groningen.
