Turn your steps into saplings planted and cared for.<\/strong><\/p><p>The mission of P\u0103durea Copiilor (The Children\u2019s Forest) is to establish forests in 100 communities across the South-Muntenia Region by 2035\u2014one of the areas in Romania most exposed to climate change due to the severe lack of forest cover.<\/p><p>P\u0103durea Copiilor works directly to protect and restore ecosystems throughout Romania, while also educating and engaging individuals and organizations in afforestation efforts, forest protection, and responsible entrepreneurship.<\/p><p>The Association runs two main programs: the \u201cP\u0103durea Copiilor\u201d afforestation program and PEPI (Educational, Participatory and Inclusive Nursery). Through these programs, it carries out activities such as forest establishment, landscape design, the creation of green spaces and recreational forests, as well as organizing volunteer actions and environmental education activities for all ages.\u00a0<\/p><p class=\"translation-block\">Since 2016, P\u0103durea Copiilor has afforested 255 hectares of degraded land, planting over 2.3 million saplings with the help of 13,470 volunteers, across 51 communities in southern Romania.<\/p><p><strong>Vino \u00een echipa P\u0103durea Copiilor!
