Camelia Lupascu

European champion rowing

“Although I was a performance rower, I have always liked running.
I can say that in time, since I gave up rowing, I have become a fan of running. It is obviously a complex sport, it keeps you fit but beside all of these it makes you feel free and healthy.
Since I have decided to participate to street running I have become friend with a lot of people whom I meet at every running competition.
All the events organized by ABRC are special to me. First of all I am very proud that the President is a former rower, Mrs. Valeria Racila van Groeningen, Olympic champion, also a passionate runner and secondly, I have noticed that there is also another side of Bucharest when street running competitions are happening.
We are all friends of sports, even those who are applauding and encouraging us from the sides.”
